THE LOVE GURU (2008) (c)

“People may say bad things about you, but you must never say bad things about yourself.”

Comment:
What the hell the world is going to be when we all stop believing in ourselves? Then the answer my friend is… the end of the world.
Let’s be honest, do you think Oprah Winfrey is physically beautiful? No, I don’t think she is physically beautiful. However, she believes in her. She believes that she is somehow beautiful in some way. And there she is the richest woman on earth. She donates and supports many foundations. She never says bad thing about herself and other people. She makes the world a better place.
Another example comes from Japan. Not long ago a professor (I don’t remember his name) once made an experiment to two glasses of water. He invited some monks to pray and say good things in front of the first glass. For the second glass of water, he invited some people to curse and condemned the glass of water. What happened to those glasses of water after he examined them under a microscope? The water in the first glass somehow became crystal colored. It’s interesting that the second glass of water turned to black and poison.
Human body is filled most with water. In medicine, body water is all of the water content of the human body. A significant fraction of the human body is water. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water. Blood contains 95% water, body fat contains 14% water and bone has 22% water. The human body is about 60% water in adult males and 55% in adult females (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_water).
Now imagine what would happen if we believe and say bad things about ourselves?
Don’t ever hate yourself. We are gorgeous in our own way. When this feeling suddenly appears, just keep in mind that God is always missing you as better person.

Summary of the Movie:
In the Comedy “The Love Guru”, Pitka (Mike Myers in his first original character since Austin Powers) is an American who was left at the gate of an ashram in India as a child and raised by gurus. He moves back to the US to seek fame and fortune in the world of self help and spirituality. His unorthodox methods are put to the test when he must settle a rift between Toronto Maple Leaf Star hockey player Darren Roanoke (Romany Maleo) and his estranged wife.
After the split, Roanoke’s wife starts dating L.A. Kings star Jacques Grande (Justin Timberlake) out of revenge, sending her husband into a major professional skid…to the horrors of the teams owner Jane Bullard (Jessica Alba) and coach Cherkov (Verne Troyer). Pitka must return the couple to marital nirvana and get Roanoke back on his game. So the team can break the 40-year-old “Bullard Curse” and win the Stanley Cup.
